On March 6, 2024, Kaden Energy Ltd. (the “Company”) filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (the "NOI") pursuant to the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (the “BIA”) and BDO Canada Limited was appointed as the trustee ( the "Proposal Trustee"). A copy of the Certificate of Notice of Intention issued by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy is provided below:
The Company sought and obtained an Order from the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta (the “Court”) approving the extension of the stay of proceedings (the “Stay”) through to May 20, 2024.
The Company sought and obtained an Order (the “Claims Process Order”) from the Court approving a procedure to adjudicate creditor claims (the “Claims Procedure”).
The Claims Process was initiated, and individual claim packages were emailed directly to Known Creditors on May 10, 2024. Therefore, The Claims Bar Date for Known Creditors is May 24, 2024.
If any Known Creditor disputes the quantum and/or classification of its claim as listed on the individual notice sent by the Proposal Trustee, a Notice of Dispute must be submitted to the Proposal Trustee by the Claims Bar Date. If you agree with the amount and classification of your claim, no further action is required.
If you did not receive your individual creditor package, please contact the Proposal Trustee as soon as possible at the contact details below.

Any Unknown Claimants (i.e., not listed on the foregoing), you must prepare and submit a Proof of Claim (blank copy provided below) to the Proposal Trustee by the Unknown Claims Bar Date (as defined pursuant to the Claims Process)
